Students' credit cards from the class of 2006 were incorrectly charged by the University bookstore, according to eFollette, the store's proprietor.
The charges occurred in March to the credit cards of the graduated class. The eFollette Group claims the mistake was the result of a computer malfunction by the Herff Jones Company, the company from which the school orders its cap and gowns for the commencement ceremonies.

About 100 students gathered on the Yard on Tuesday evening to celebrate the life of Aaron Bonner. This comes after a week full of honoring this former Howard student who passed away on July 2 from cancer.
Last week, Chad Williams-Bey was among hundreds of Howard University students to drive eight hours to Cincinnati for Bonner's funeral, officially saying goodbye to a dear friend.
