Yes Red Sox fans, that noise that's kept you awake is the pounding of obnoxious inflatable balloons. That image you see when you close your eyes is an innocent stuffed animal.
You're tossing, you're turning and you keep flipping over to the other side of the pillow.

Has anyone ever been cut from a team? It's an experience most of us have felt at some point. Laura Paulsen was cut too. When she was a ninth grader, her family made a long move from Colorado to Maryland. In a brand new school, not knowing anyone, Laura decided to try out for tennis to meet people.

Never before had I seen anyone rush the pitch after a soccer match at the Mount.
Sunday, though, was also the first time I've seen a match of postseason significance at the Mount.
That would explain the way the hair on the back of my neck stood up as a few hundred seminarians, family members, friends and students cheered the Mount seminarians to their fourth consecutive Rector's Cup championship.

I still don't like the idea of Brett Favre playing for a team other than the Packers.
Seeing him in a Jets uniform knowing he'll never wear a Green Bay jersey again is like logging onto Facebook knowing that the old version may never come back. It's depressing.

The Web site says the Pulse is "your on-campus, private, 5,000 square feet of workout space, featuring a mirrored room where you can listen to music or catch up on news and sports on the mounted television," but sophomore advertising major Jeremy Johnson begs to differ.

Combined with an explosive offensive attack, led by junior running back and captain Andrew Kase and freshman quarterback Hewitt Tomlin, and a solid defensive stance, Hopkins beat the Gettysburg Bullets 49-37, for their third consecutive win this season.
