We embarked upon our first venture outside of the country this weekend to Vienna, Austria. After getting off the train, our first endeavor was to take in the Leopold Art Museum, which showcased the works of some of the most respected Austrian painters including Gustav Klimt, whom I admire very much for his apparent knack at letting women paint them without clothes on.

In Miami, I never got the black experience. If you know anything about the city, you know about 60 percent of the area is of Latin descent, according to the 2000 Census Bureau report. In many parts of the city people don't speak English.
In grade school, Miami-Dade students learn about black history primarily in February, learning only about Martin Luther King, Jr.

When building a house it is vital for survival that there be a ventilation system; a chimney, a fan, or even just an open window. So why is it when it comes to relationships we don't always have a way to vent? Are there certain people we go to for certain things? Should there be one who gets the satisfaction of knowing they are your first line defense? I couldn't believe it.

It may have been the free flavored snow ice and cotton candy, the great rotation of music playing or the opportunity to meet the phenomenal organizations on campus that lured a great number of students to the event.
